 What a lie. Your words are incredibility powerful. I want to think about the impact, discern if its necessary then speak. 


I will never forget the words spoken to me out of anger, hate, love and honestly. People may not remember exactly what you say, but they will always remember how you made them feel. Your words are a product of your character. Open your mouth in harshness and relentlessness and those around you wont take any notice. Speak out of love, integrity and principle; its what turns heads.

Notice how he said 'I came that THEY'. It was never about him. 

Scott; Your gifts and talents are all from Him, you have been blessed and I will never stop praying for you. Thanks for being the brother I never had, you have a good heart behind all that sarcasm and it shines through enough for me to see it regularly :) I look up to you and thank you for everything you've ever done for me, I promise to never forget it. 

Jake; My favorite childhood memories are all with you. I always think about the fun times we had together and will treasure them in my heart forever. Determination and hard work gets you a distance in this world... but then comes God. Your an amazing encouragement to me brother, I think your one of the greatest guys I've ever met and I'm truly blessed to have known you. 

JessicaMae; I miss jumping on your bed and stealing your clothes!! They are times for which I've needed you and you, me which I love about our friendship as it's equal in love and input into each other lives. You've had a huge effect on my character and I hope to have a little girl one day who's like you. For the rest of my life I vow to always be close with you right up until the end. I'll love you forever.

Past hurts verse future Dreams

I gotta un-tie the hurt to be able to let go. It's so easy to say I don't need them but the only person who can really help me believe that is God. So I will serve and love like I never have before in spite of they way I feel. This will keep me tied down, never reaching out as far as I was meant to. To disappoint the people I'm around used to be my greatest fear, now its not reaching my dreams which were put my heart FIRST by the loving God I serve, dreams were in my heart before anyone came in or out of my life.

Shame

I had the blessing of getting to know one of my fellow classmates today whom I haven't talked to at all after being in his class for a whole year. He shared with me that he's from Iraq and is a Muslim. We talked about our religion exam then starting comparing beliefs. Probably had the most interesting conversation I've ever had with anyone at St.Marys. We explained each other's beliefs and morals in complete understanding and I grew in my appreciation for all the beautiful people in my life who are Islamic.
So many people have fallen victim to media propaganda towards this Islamic community. I know from living in the mountains which has the largest concentration of Caucasians in the whole of NSW, some people are pretty racists with their only evidence coming from what they've seen on Today Tonight. My friend who I talked to today agreed with me and doesn't blame those who are racist as it is largely the media.
He told me this story of when he was 7years old he was shopping with his mother who was wearing traditional Hijab. They were approached by an Aussie man in the supermarket who questioned her why she was wearing her traditional dress in Australia and that it 'wasn't our culture'. She ignored him and walked away to which he followed then stating 'Have you gotta bomb under there'? 'Ya gunna bomb this supermarket are ya?'. 
At 7years my friend had to defend his own mother against a racists Australian who couldn't handle the fact that it is within their belief that they cover up to remain in purity, which is stated in the Qur'an, and to honour her husband in only letting him see her body.
